NCC Hiring Our First CEO!

Five years ago, Kim Smith and Trish Millines Dziko met at the Pahara Institute Fellowship. Their “project” as part of our fellowship focused on supporting charter school leaders of color who run one school. They simply wanted to resource school leaders to enable Black and Brown students to thrive. The National Charter Collaborative was launched. As Kim and Trish step aside, they are in search of a CEO who can partner with a dynamic team to lead the organization to higher heights.

NCC seeks an exceptional leader who is deeply committed to providing an equitable high-quality education to all students, particularly Black, Brown and Indigenous students, to serve as their inaugural #CEO. This is a compelling opportunity for a strategic, innovative, and entrepreneurial leader who wants to manage the growth of a start-up organization supporting single site charter schools and their leaders of color. The successful candidate will be an effective fundraiser, strategic communicator, and visionary leader who has a deep understanding of charter school issues, policy, and research.
